Overview
ZArchiver is the most-recommended Android archiver. It supports creating 7z and ZIP and extracting almost any archive format you encounter, including RAR5 and split archives. Free with optional ads; the Pro version is a one-time payment.

How to use ZArchiver
Extracting an archive
- Locate the archive in your file manager (or terminal).
- Right-click and choose the ZArchiver entry, or run the equivalent CLI command.
- Pick a destination folder.
- Wait for extraction to complete — speed depends on archive size and chosen algorithm.
Creating an archive
- Select the files or folders you want to bundle.
- Open ZArchiver and choose Add (or drag the selection onto its window/dock icon).
- Pick a target format from the supported list above.
- Optionally set a password — prefer AES-256 over legacy algorithms.
- Click OK and wait for compression to complete.
